Welcome to Flora Vista

Welcome to Flora Vista Elementary School! Our school has been recognized as a California Distinguished School by the California Department of Education four times, and is the only elementary school in California to receive the 2019 Civic Learning Award of Excellence. One of nine innovative schools in the Encinitas Union School District, Flora Vista serves approximately 450 students in grades K-6. Utilizing 1:1 student iPad technology while developing 21st century learners, our school community also retains that warm feel of a true neighborhood school.  Centered in the heart of the beautiful Village Park area of Encinitas, Flora Vista is a community that supports the concept of “Safe Routes to School” for pedestrians and bicycle riders, with many, many families walking and riding their bikes to and from school every day.
